Mafia: The Old Country - Horse Race Mission
Walkthrough for Mafia: The Old Country horse race mission. Covers finding collectibles, combat practice, and defeating Shadow after winning the race.
You can now view the game map. The mine, where the game begins, is located in the northwest corner of the map and is quite a distance from here.
Follow Lucas on horseback to Pasquale's shop. Grab some Dinari (the in-game currency) from the chest.
Enter the room to access various shop interfaces: Weapons, Horses, Cars, Charms, and Wardrobe. Items from the Deluxe Edition and pre-order bonuses can be used immediately without needing to purchase them.
In the Charm shop, you can spend money to upgrade and unlock additional charm slots. In the corner of the room, you can also replenish bandages and ammunition.
At Pasquale's mother's place, you can exchange the three-legged stool collectibles you've found for money.
Collectibles like photographs, cards, newspapers, three-legged stools, and fox statues will be marked on the map. If you're interested, you can explore and collect them at your leisure after completing the game.
After buying a dagger, practice combat with Lucas.
Mount your horse and follow Lucas to the horse race. Take some time to look around first. You'll find a charm on the steps outside a tent.
During the horse race, remember to utilize your sprint boost frequently to overtake your opponents.
After winning first place in the race, you'll accompany Isabella and encounter "Shadow," Blackbird's brother. Defeat him using your newly learned skills.
